Here are some comments from Heavyhanders:
Just wanted to write to say thank you for Heavy hands. I recently came back to it, and I couldn't be happier. I tried HH many years ago, but thought it was too "soft". I was in my mid 20s and invincible and liked the achy feeling I got from running and lifting weights. Tried HH once or twice, thought it was OK, but not for me. Then, about 5 years ago, I suffered a pinched nerve in my neck (directly attributable to weight lifting) and that stopped me from exercising for a couple of years till I got it taken care of. Tried lifting again - weights, calisthenics, rubber bands - anything, but always re-injured myself. So basically I've spent the last 5 years getting fat and out of shape. Then I decided to visit the Animal Ability Ezboard - a home for real free thinkers regarding exercise and health - and someone was talking about your book. I found my old 3 lb dumbbells and started pumping and walking. That was about a month ago and I feel better than I have in at least 5 years. I haven't lost any weight yet, but I look and feel much better. Once I get the diet in order, I expect to lose some fat. Thank you so much for heavy hands. For the first time in years I feel very positive and optimistic that I can get back into shape again. Maybe even the best shape of my life.
Sincerely
Jeff B
After twenty years of exercise I am more convinced than ever that heavy hands or should I say heavy hands theory and training philosophy can help us achieve a fit and body while eating like a normal person.

I first bought Heavyhands in the 80's when they were all over the place. I stopped doing them about 5 years ago and recently re started the program as a training routine for fitness in my retirement. Although the original book was somewhat complicated and had hard to follow routines, I still believe that this is the best overall fat burning
and conditioning exercise, bar none! I just sent for the video andwill get the walking book. Right now, I do a three mile HH Walk with 3 pounders at level 1-2-3 along with punch n walk at one minute
intervals and finish with three minutes of double ski pole. Glad to see HHs back. Dr. Schwartz is a genius.
I have been doing Heavyhands for a little more than a year. Along with attempting to watch what I eat, I have lost approximately 115 pounds. I currently do heavyhands for 5 miles a day at 15 minutes per mile using 5 lb heavyhands pumping to Level III.
